Synaty Automotive Receives First ICAT Compliance Certificate for 15-Metre Multi-Axle Sleeper Bus

Manesar, Haryana: The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) has issued its first compliance certificate, awarded to Synaty Automotive, for a 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus under AIS-119 and AIS-153, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR).

The certificate has been awarded to Synaty Automotive Pvt. Ltd. for its 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus.

The certification marks an important milestone in the testing and certification of one of the longest permissible bus body configurations in India’s passenger transport category.

The certificate was formally handed over by Shri Saurabh Dalela, Director, ICAT, to Shri Naresh Kumar Yadav, Managing Director, Synaty Automotive Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of senior ICAT officials.

Synaty Automotive 15-Metre Sleeper Bus Designed for Long-Distance Travel

The Synaty Automotive bus has been developed for long-distance passenger transportation, with features focused on structural strength, emergency safety, fire safety, passenger movement and travel comfort.

The vehicle offers a capacity of 42 berths in the fully sleeper variant. The hybrid sleeper variant provides 21 berths and 42 seats, offering an integrated configuration for long-distance passenger travel.

The Synaty Automotive bus has been tested and certified against the applicable requirements covering vehicle safety, structural integrity, passenger accommodation and comfort, as prescribed under the relevant automotive standards and CMVR.

Synaty Automotive Bus Certified Under AIS-119 and AIS-153

The compliance certification of the Synaty Automotive 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus under AIS-119 and AIS-153 demonstrates ICAT’s capability to evaluate advanced passenger vehicle configurations and support manufacturers in meeting prescribed regulatory and technical requirements.

The certification covers requirements related to vehicle safety, structural integrity, passenger accommodation and comfort, strengthening the regulatory compliance framework for advanced passenger transport vehicles.
